Ron's Verdict on Binance Fees
Binance wins on taker fees (0.05% vs 0.06% Bybit). If you're a market order / scalp trader, that difference adds up on volume. But I personally use Bybit for active trading because the 0.01% maker fee is unbeatable — I always use limit orders. If you hold BNB and trade spot heavily, Binance is clearly better. Bottom line: Binance for taker-heavy & spot traders, Bybit for maker-heavy futures traders.
Binance Spot Trading Fees 2026
Standard Binance spot fees are 0.10% maker / 0.10% taker. But Binance's BNB discount (-25%) brings this to 0.075% effectively — one of the best spot fee structures available without reaching high VIP tiers.

Binance Options Trading Fees
Binance offers American-style options (exercise anytime) on BTC and ETH. Liquidity is lower than Deribit, but fees are competitive. European-style options are also available on select pairs.
| Fee Type | Rate | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Options Trading Fee | 0.03% | Of underlying asset value |
| Fee Cap | 10% of premium | Fee cannot exceed 10% of option value |
| Exercise Fee | 0.015% | On American-style early exercise |
| Settlement | Free | Auto-settled at expiry |
BNB Fee Discount — Binance's Biggest Advantage
This is one of Binance's most powerful fee reduction tools. By holding BNB (Binance Coin) in your spot wallet, Binance automatically deducts trading fees in BNB and gives you a 25% discount on all spot trades. There's no minimum BNB holding requirement — any amount qualifies.
With BNB Discount (25% Off)
How to Enable BNB Discount
- 1Buy any amount of BNB on Binance spot market
- 2Go to User Center → Dashboard → Fee
- 3Enable "Using BNB for fees" toggle
- 4Binance auto-deducts in BNB going forward
- 5Works on spot, margin, and some futures products
Does Bybit Have a Similar Discount?
Bybit has BYB (formerly BIT) token discounts, but the BNB discount on Binance is more established and impactful for spot traders. However, for futures specifically, Bybit's base 0.01% maker fee is already so low that no token discount is needed to beat Binance's 0.02% maker.
Binance Withdrawal Fees 2026
Binance passes blockchain network fees to users. The cheapest withdrawal method is TRC20 for USDT — same as Bybit. Note that Binance also offers internal transfers between Binance accounts at zero cost.
| Asset | Network | Fee | Min. Withdraw |
|---|---|---|---|
| USDT | TRC20 (TRON) | 1 USDT | 10 USDT |
| USDT | ERC20 (Ethereum) | 5–20 USDT | 20 USDT |

| USDC | TRC20 | 1 USDC | 10 USDC |
